Finalmente este 13 de febrero, se llevó adelante la entrega de premios de la edición N° 53 de los premios Grammys, en una ceremonia cargada de importantes actuaciones, que consagró al talentoso trío de música country “Lady Antebellum” como los máximos ganadores de la noche con 5 estatuillas, incluidas 2 de las 3 categorías más importantes “Mejor grabación (producción) del año” y “Mejor canción del año” por su tema “Need you now”.El premio en la máxima categoría restante de “Mejor disco del año”, se lo llevó el grupo canadiense “Arcade fire”, por su disco “The suburs” (excelente disco que ya presentamos en varias oportunidades en el programa).
La otra ganadora de la noche fue “Lady Gaga”, que se llevó 3 galardones en las categorías de “Mejor álbum pop”, por su disco “The fame monster”, “Mejor video musical corto” y “Mejor actuación vocal pop femenina”, ambos por su tema “Bad romance”.
“Eminem”, quien era el máximo favorito por sus 10 nominaciones, finalmente solo obtuvo 2 premios en las categorías “Mejor álbum de rap” y “Mejor actuación de Rap”
